To The 35+’s Whose Bones Have Started To Creak
It’s your shoulders you have to work on.
You never realise till it’s stooped
all the way to your knees
that they bear the most weight as you age.
If you search deep you’ll discover that it isn’t
the fear of something not working out
if you venture into the unknown that’s stopping
you from connecting to your new aspirations.
It’s actually the fear of not being able to find
enough strength to lift your shoulders and
shrug it off with a “so what”
like you once could.
Work.on.those.shoulders.
